This set was inspired by a recent dream I had. It was one of those super sureal flying dreams. When I wake up from a flying dream I feel like I am still dancing on air.
The mix starts off a little on the edgy side on purpose. It's designed to confuse your mind so that you can fully embrace the rest of the dream.
I recently gave out a bunch of these cds and got some great feedback. Please enjoy.

This is an interesting ambient/IDM mix with a bit of breaks near the end. I opened the night up so I was mixing for a dance floor filled with people doing yoga and stretching. It was actually really a neat experience. I listened to the mix many times before I decided to post it. As far as the track layout goes, it is totally on the fly and at the begining of the mix you will hear some live drummers and a didgereedoo player playing along. I had a severe ear infection when I did this gig, so I felt very off balance but all in all I have decided that I like the mix and I have enjoyed listening to it several times..... even the rough edges of it being a live mix. Hope you like it too.

"Starsong Rising" is a multi-genre, digital compilation that begins very softly and takes the listener through an energetic journey that ends with the "Prayer for Peace". My hope is for this compilation to invoke a feeling of energetic growth and a sense for world peace.
The intention is to slowly build one's energy from the point of stillness to the brink of explosive movement, all while staying fully grounded and connected to one's body. The"Prayer for Peace" at the very end was released by Earth Dance and was specificly chosen for this compilation as a reminder that as we work on ourselves that we also remember that the world needs our help too. We can each make a difference and bring peace to the world in many different ways. It is up to us to decide what we can do, even if it is as simple as a hug or a smile to a new friend.
I put this together over the course of a couple of road trips this summer using studio software on my laptop. In no particular order, you will hear tracks from Mystical Sun, Abakus, Watershell, Night Creep, Shpongle, DBlue, Tipper, Desert Dwellers, Bassnectar and Micah Goldfarb.
I hope you enjoy using this as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

I created this compilation of very nice of chill and ambient grooves, for use with my massage clients. You might also enjoy this compilation for relaxation and meditation.
It's an old cd with a couple of scratches I just converted, so you may notice a couple of very minor glitches in the file now. I am sorry I do not have a tracklist and its been way too long to remember all the producers that contributed to this mix. Let's just say kudos to them!
